Introduction

Standard & Poor's analysts regularly prepare detailed reports on insurers that provide background, financial information and explanations of the claims paying ability ratings issued on the insurer by Standard & Poor's.

Many of these Standard & Poor's Claims Paying Ability Reports are now being made available by Standard & Poor's on Insurance News Network. The reports are free of charge to users, and Standard & Poor's provides individuals the right to download a single copy of any particular report for their personal use.
